Explore the capabilities of the new Windows Azure Management Portal to see how creating and managing your cloud assets is made easier.

Main Menu

Use this menu to access the Windows Azure web site, switch display languages, navigate to the old portal or simply log out of your management session.

Create New

Through this streamlined interface you can quickly set up new services, resources and components with minimal initial configuration.

Compute: Get access to premium App Services and Data that can be used with Windows Azure.

WebSite (Preview): Create and manage Web Sites hosted on Windows Azure.

Virtual Machine (Preview): Create and manage Virtual Machines.

Mobile Service (Preview): Create a backend service for your app running in Windows Azure

Cloud Service: Create and manage cloud services running on Windows Azure Web, Worker and VM roles.

DataServices: Create and manage storage accounts on Windows Azure for Blobs, Tables, and Queues.

SQL Database: Create and manage SQL Databases running on Windows Azure.

Storage: Create and manage storage accounts on Windows Azure for Blobs, Tables, and Queues.

App Services: Enhance your app with Messaging, Media, and other services.

Service Bus Queue: Create and manage Service Bus Queues on Windows Azure

Service Bus Topic: Create and manage Service Bus Queues on Windows Azure

Service Bus Relay: Create and manage Service Bus Namespaces on Windows Azure. To create a Service Bus Relay in this Namespace via the Service Bus API, click here for instructions.

Media Service (Preview): Create and manage Media Services on Windows Azure.

Access Control: Create and manage Active Directory Access Control Namespaces on Windows Azure

The Command Bar provides easy access to global and contextual commands such as Stop, Configure and Delete, giving you instant control over all your services, resources and components.

The notifications area provides you status updates of active commands and service health as well as easy access to both Feedback
and Help.

Get access to premium App Services and Data that can be used with Windows Azure.

GET HELP (Help Icon)

Wherever you are in the portal, you’re always a click away from getting help on whatever you’re working on. Click the Help icon in the lower right corner of the portal, and a specific set of help topics slide into view. Each part of the portal requires different help information, so depending on where you are in the portal, expect to get different sets of help topics whenever you click Help.

To navigate the set of help topics, use the buttons along the left side of the help. When you’re done, just click the Close icon, and you’re back in the portal.
